Well today I tackled the crank position sensor, oil filer housing gasket and took my passenger side cv axle to get rebuilt, due to broken boot.
The crank was not hard at all to get to, once i figured out how to get it in front service mode. Took me awhile to clean because of all the oil that was caked on over the years or it leaking. Now the oil house gasket was the real pain. It was hard to figure out how to get a socket in there. Once i got it off and went to put it back on i dropped one of the small bolts and took me a hour to find it. RAWWWWW. The guy on the YouTube video makes it look easy. I'm so glad i knocked out those today, pretty much took me all day to complete. but i am oil leak free....well for now hahaha.
Why not just change out the boot yourself? Unless the CV joint is dry or full of dirt its most likely okay and just needs a boot. I changed out both inner boots on my '06 last summer. The kits came with grease packets. Dirty but not too difficult.

because the guy only only charged me 50$ and I did the driver side two weeks ago and had hell getting the knuckle bears off. So for me it was worth it. Plus he installed a new carrier bearing.
