I found a button that is kind of hidden located on the underside of the center console. While looking for the trunk release (before I relized that the thing is already unlocked when the doors are unlocked.. duh!) I felt a push button under there. Does anyone else know what it is for? I pressed it twice and nothing seemed to happen. I didn't see it listed in the manual either.

zog,
It depends on what button you are talking about....
If your talking about the button located under the E-Brake..... that is for the air pressure sensors. That has been discussed here before. Here...

If your talking about a button located under the drivers side dash.... I think it has something to do with the computer..... ie reset button or something.
Hope this helps.

If it is the one under the dash it is the Eject button for the passeger seat. Not recommended if you don't have the double pane sunroof open. Works great for wife, in-laws, neighbors and pets.

Happy Mini Motoring!

Is the ejection seat a cost+ option... that might be useful.

DON'T TOUCH THAT! IT WILL ERASE YOUR PERSONAL SETTINGS FOR MINICOOPER ONLINE!!!

Truly, I think what you are talking about is the fuel reset switch or pump reset switch. Designed to shut off in case of impact... Would need to see exactly which button you be touchin.

The spring loaded button under the toggle switches? Don't know for sure but it comes in handy for replacing the closure panel if, for some reason, you should knock it loose.
