Dynamatt Install Pictures

See the pics here: http://public.fotki.com/PMS/panhandl...nstall_-_mini/

If you are thinking about Dynamatt, get the new Extrem stuff. It is lighter, you don't need a heat gun and much easier to handle. It's more $$$, but well worth it.

Took an entire day to do the doors, rear quarters & hatch lid. I plan to do the rest when I can afford to buy more.

Thanks for the pictures and how to-
So how does it work for you now?

Dynamat Extreme and similar sound deadening products are helpful for reducing vibration and absorbing outside and inside noise.

I had 29 square feet of Cascade Audio VB-max (adhesive) applied to the front doors alone- three layers- inner door metal, outer door metal and inner door panel. The material covered nearly all of the surfaces. I didn't do the rear or hatch areas and it worked for me. If you want to do more then also consider the floor.

I seem to remember the inside of the door panels & quarter panels had some material on them already.

No matter how much is already on the door panels you can always add more. Each door has an outer metal panel facing the outside of the car, an inner metal panel facing the inside of the car with oval cut out, and an inside inner plastic door panel that attaches to the door. All three surfaces can be completely covered with any of the material. Since it is heavy and expensive you have to figure out how much you want to add.

Usually the doors close with a very solid clunk
The lower bass sounds that might really rattle a door sound cleaner and often the buzzing and vibrations are eliminated.

Good sound deadening is an integral part of any high end automotive audio upgrade.
