I bought my 02 MCS with 11k. The car looks new. I have already put 9K on it in 4 months. I have noticed several threads where older Minis had to have "problems" worked out. Before the warranty expeires......what are the "problems" I should have addressed?

Why fix what ain't broke?

Relax my friend, take a deep breath and smile!

It is good to be "informed" about issues and such but if you haven't experienced any of them, then why fret about things that probably your MINI will never experience?

I have a 2002 Cooper CVT with 25K miles and zero problems. We had some minor issues with the boot latch and the software programming when we first got the car, but after the dealer took care of the problems, these wrinkles were ironed out and the car has been bank vault reliable since.

Do a search in the "Beneath the Bonnet" forum but only do it to be informed not to get overly obsessed!

Go out and motor and take care of the "issues" when they come, not when they don't exist.

 

SpiderX, I have an early 02 MCS and as Cooper4us said don't try to fix what is not broke. I bought my MCS new and have had not one problem. I have read threads where people have had legitimate problems and would have worried also if I saw the symptoms they described. I don’t try to create problems; if it’s real you will know. So mellow out and enjoy the ride.
