Cleaning stripes

How do you get these bad-boys clean? Mine are filthy after 2 years...

Wash, then wax. Then buff intensely until it's back to the original color.


You will get some color on your terry towel when you buff.

I thought you were not supposed to wax the stripes? Or is this only for after market stripes that are installed....
