I need to remove my drivers side door panel. Is there anything I need to watch out for? I did auto glass for 30yrs., sold my business and have not pulled a door panel since 2000. So I'm one of those old guys who isn't too proud to ask questions. I've seen lots of botched removals in my time and I don't what my Mini to be one of them. I know the problem I am having is a warranty issue but I'm not willing risk the drive into the city for something I can fix myself. I got 2 rocks in my windshield on my last trip to the dealer just to get the shifter **** replaced . Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I've taken mine off and it's very easy. I recommend you wrap some duct around the screwdriver that will be used to pop off the bottom of the door panel and door latch surround.
