I have a little moss problem. I have a product on backorder WAY backorder. It's the AUX input and it's been driving me nuts they haven't been able to get it to me in over a month or so. What do you all think. It was a good price so I went for it, but it ridicules to wait this long, should I cancel my order and try another vendor? Try a different product. This is for new ipod, so I thought about the new BMW one, but it's kind of expensive, and I'm not going with an fm tuner, because in DC they're aren't many good stations to use it with. What do you all think I should do?

 

Well, when you ordered it from Moss, it was on backorder right? Did they give you a time that it would be available? They might not have any control over it really. Moss has always been amazing with customer service, etc. for me. You may want to re-title this thread "iPod Hookup Problems"

Anyway, to your issue. I also have a 3G iPod, and I'm waiting for the Apple thing to hook it up in the car. It's 150.00, which is reasonable in my opinion considering you can control everything with your radio controls. With the aux input, you are just controlling your iPod with the iPod controls, and you have no way of keeping it charged other than more cables.

I'd wait and get the Apple iPod MINI adapter, but that's just my .02

 

If this is the MINI Aux input, check with some the of dealers they may have it in stock...

 

I've ordered stuff several times from Moss and their service has always been prompt. If, however, it's been over 2 weeks, you may have the right to cancel your order.

Then do a Google search for the Blitzsafe aux input connector.
