Smoke coming from headers!???

Hey guys reaching out for some help on my new r53 s . So here is a list of what I have done to her in a matter of 2 weeks. 1st week I got her went out with my family and sitting at a gas station all my coolant spilled all over the floor. Was able to get it to a commuter lot where later I diagnosed that the water pump was the cause. I replaced the water pump and filled with coolant again. Once again as usual my 40min commute with my favorite car in the world. When I parked my car I noticed smoke coming from my hood. I opened the hood but smoke was to little to be able to see where it was coming from. I tried to start the car to see where smoke was coming from but did not want to even crank. Looked down under headers and saw that starter wire was rotted out Got a new starter from my local autoparts and swapped it in. I put everything back together and started my car once again. I let it run for about 2 minutes when I noticed that smoke was coming from my headers. It is like a burning smell. To me it does not smell like coolant but not sure. My oil is completely clean and so is expansion tank. It does have a leak by the oil filter housing. But the odd thing is I haven't added oil to the engine because everytime I check the dipstick it is way overflow. I had been planning the weekend of the starter situation to change oil but now I am stuck with this dilemma. Any thoughts on what you guys think it could be?
