Central Florida Mini mechanic?

Hi!

Im wondering if anyone knows a solid mechanic in the Central Florida area that would install a 17% pulley.
I do know of Ian and Maitland motorsports.
I talked to him for a bit, and he was very knowledgeable and nice.
I'm just curious if there were any other more fiscally attainable options.😁

Short of doing it yourself anyone that is capable of doing a good clean job will be expensive, it is not an easy task but with tools you can do it--you will need a pulley puller and a tensioned bar, a new shorter belt and the knowledge to change out the pulley.

I have done a lot of work on my 03 MCS but I am not sure I would tackle the pulley----my harmonic balancer pulley is due to be replaced and I am note at this point if I will do it or take it over to Mini of Daytona--- am just north-west of Ocala.

Ian is the guy most recommended around Orlando, but if you ask on the FB pages I mentioned in your other post ... you might get some others or even DIY help.

I know a place over here, beachside but am not saying it is worth the drive. You could call and get a price tho ....

Pierre's Place, in Melbourne near exit 191 I-95, 321-610-3921

Patrick at Mini of Daytona has been around the Mini for years and runs service at the Daytona shop you may want to give him a call.

Have a shop do it, the harmonic pulley can be a pain and leave you stuck.
