Emissions!!!

On my 3rd visit to emissions testing, tech keeps telling me that the car is "not ready" and that I need to drive it more.
Anyone know how to activate these sensors so I can pass emissions? I know it can be done via tuning software on my laptop.

Thanks for the info

thanks for the info, its a bit different than what the tech told me but the hard part is finding a road w/o traffic and I had no idea I had to keep the car below 3000 rpm, this is my track car so that never happens even when I drive it around town!

cant I close the loop via software?

get an elm327 and use torque it'll show you what is reading "not ready"

are you using a sim on your o2 sensor?

Talk with your tuner, who in this case I would presume to be Jan. He may have programmed out your secondary O2.

The car should be in closed loop after 190*, which doesn't take long to achieve in the summer months.

Yes it was Jan, I'll reach out to him and see what he says.
The report is saying that Catalyst: not ready, Fuel System: not ready,
O2 Sensor: Not ready
OBD readiness: Fail

Your sig also says that the catalytic converter is deleted, which is required by law to pass an emissions test on a road registered vehicle.

Also, is your ECU still factory with tuning, or is it a ViPec setup? Normal scan tools don't work with ViPec, only ViPec software will read the ECU.

I have it set up so I can re-install the cat just for this reason.
So it is currently in place.
I do have the stock ECU w/a Jan tune.
