MisFires MisFire MisFire
Fellow Minians, i need your help
i have a 04 MCS 140K on the Dash
im getting the following codes
P0300
RANDOM/MULTIPLE mISFIRE
P2096
POST CATALYST FUEL TRIM sYSTEM TOO LEAN (BANK1)
P0301
CYLINDER 1 MISfIRE
P0313
mISFIRE DETECED LOW FUEL
where would be a good place to start for this issue its starting to get aggrevating

Since you're getting a low fuel code, I'd check the fuel pressure and do a compression test as well. Low fuel pressure could cause your lean condition, as well as misfires. I'd start there to eliminate those and by doing a compression test, you'll be able to check the plugs while you're at it.
iight thanks Da_Ghost i just pulled plug #2 and theres oil on the plug and on the piston head.... Plug #1 is slightly seized, just sprayed carbon clean it to soak for a little bit.
did some research on oil on spark plug but not too much came up about fixing it. any ideas?

Can you post pics of the sparkplugs?
It could be just too cold of a plug, or a byproduct of the misfire, or even bad gaskets on the valve cover...
My gut says you fuel pump might have a low psi and the plugs are dirty as a result of a misfires...
I would see if you can borrow a fuel psi tester and plug it into the rail (under the intercooler there is a valve) and check it out.

So i took a second look at the #2 spark plug and the helicoil came out with it.
the #1 SP. is stuck and is currently being removed with the tighten then loosen method. My plan is too first remove sp #1 then try to reinstall a coil in #2 SP hole.
(My question with that is, Because i removed the old helicoil do you think i be able to reinstall one?)
after that ill be doing a fuel psi test to determine if it is a failing fuel pump. fuel filter or if its an electrical problem
then ill do the compression test
