Help, slight vibration and wheel noise under hard cornering

Hello all,
I have a 2004 mini cooper s with 65k miles on it and just recently I've noticed that when I take a hard/fast turn/curve I get some slight vibration and noise coming off my wheels, at first I thought my tire pressure was too low which it was but I inflated to spec and it still happens, any ideas? Doesn't occur when going straight.

Thanks
Ray

Check your wheel bearings.

Thanks, thought maybe that may be it but wasn't sure. To check I would just jack the car up and try to shake the wheel to see if there is any play?

Thanks

On MINIs, the bearing can be bad with very little play. Try shaking the wheels at 12 and 6. At Helix, we sometimes have to spin them with a stethoscope on the hub.
