I'm about to replace the clutch on my '05MCS (140k MILES) and I'm getting conflicting information from vendors about the output shaft seals (seal the drive axles) ECS lists different seals left and right, Pelican lists one seal, the same for left and right.
Now, ECS is saying that the seal is NLA, and no one else lists a 40 X 62 mm seal for the transmission at all.
What am I missing? I want to be sure to change all of the seals that I need to in order to keep it all from leaking (I'm in there anyway, and its 11 Years old).
Does anyone know what seals REALLY are needed for the Getrag 6 speed?

 

These are the ones I was sent from D/T, (whome I trust explicitly) they are the exact listed matching part #'s from RealOEM
Input Shaft Seal #23117518633 26x40
Inner Axle Shaft Seal #23117518638 36x58
Outer Axle Shaft Seal.#23117550058 40x62

 

Thanks, I totally forgot about RealOEM as a reference. So according to that, the 40 X 62 is the outer axle seal (in the steering knuckle) and what I'm looking for is the 36 X 58 inner axle seal, which is in stock. Thanks a bunch BlwnAway!!!

 

Yes they are different left to right. We have them here
