Just got my '05 after 15 month wait!

Thank goodness for this sight because I have a few questions to MCS owners. First of all I love my Mini and I must have changed the color 5 times. I decided on the pepper white with black top. I got all the bells and whistles except the leather seats. I heard the popping and the exhaust noise and was worried sick until I read some post. Thank you all. First question how do you trip the miliage in the '05? I like keeping track of miles per gas tank full. Second, is there a screen or something that you can get to put behind the air scoop? We have lots of bugs here in Seattle Washington.

First off congrats, I just recived my MINI yesterday after a 6 month wait, I can't imagine how hard it was to wait 15 months.

I don't have time to do the research right now can you enlighten me on the exhaust noise issue, because it has been freeking me out!!

Thank you and enjoy your mini!!!

People have gone to home improvement stores such as Lowe's or Home Depot and bought mesh screen for covering your gutters and just made their own.

Nice surprize

I got to take out an 05 Cabrio S and got a real charge of the exhaust. Just backpressure causing slight backfire upon deceleration. Very very cool. Enjoy your rides. Also, I didn't notice if anyone answered your trip set question. Just push the small button on the speedometer and hold for about 2 seconds and it resets to zero. If it's the same as an 04 that is. Good luck.
