R50/53 Busted a 2-wire connector, any guesses what for?

Busted a 2-wire connector, any guesses what for?

So I broke this 2-wire connector, does anyone KNOW what it goes to? My thought is the cooling fan, but i dont know that for a fact.




Lodged in the hood latch. Moved it over to refit the cold air ram and never moved it back....




It looks cracked, but is actually severed completely.

Looks like the fan electrical harness connector. If so, I've seen them at Advance Auto Parts and other places between $30 and $100, depending on your MINI's year and model. Hope this helps!

Thanks bud! Funny story, I broke it at the auto parts store when I was replacing the fuse for the cooling fan. Thats the definition of irony...
