Oiling DDM Foam Filter (R53)

I recently bought a DDM intake off a friend but it needs to be cleaned and oiled. I've looked up instructions for how to oil it properly but they never seem to reference the kind of filter DDM uses. Can anyone who has this filter set up tell me how they oiled theirs? Its the black spring lined filter with the red sleeve but the black is exposed at the end.

Mine indeed came with a Uni filter. I use the same K&N oil as I did for my cheap Spectre cone filter on my Corolla, works just fine even if some people tend to believe that it will destroy foam filters. 3 years so far and my filter is still not falling to bits.
