Scratches on door card plastics—alternatives to replacing?
I’ve got ugly scratches on the hard plastic parts of my passenger’s side door card—on the lower part of the oval that forms the door pocket. I know I can replace the door card to resolve this, but are they’re any cheaper alternatives? I’d need to Cordoba beige/anthracite door card, and they’re still available new, but thought I’d see if I’m overlooking something.
Thanks for any help.

Meltonian boot and shoe cream has worked for me for the last nine years. You may want to go online and try to match up the color. #16 GREY worked for me. It wasn't an absolute perfect match but was far closer than anything I could find. Just apply a slight amount on the area, let it it dry, buff out with a cloth. May have to do it more than once but it is the most viable and least expensive alternative to replacement. If the scratch is deep, I used some very fine grit paper and gently sanded the scratch, not touching the surrounding area. Good luck.

Its hard to get them off , if very fine the magic easier will take off some,.
Some try to cover them up with interior detailer.

Thanks for the replies. Some of the scratches are actually completely through the paint—the original owner (a friend of mine) was in a band and hauled a lot of equipment in it, so I think the scratches happened when removing some gear that he’d stored in the passenger footwell.
It’s a 2004 (pre-7/2004) with the smaller armrest.
