Brake Pedal Cover Question

Does anybody else have an issue with the cover falling off their brake pedal? Mine came off a couple of months ago, I used two-part epoxy to reattach it, and it worked...for a couple of months. Can anybody recommend any stronger adhesive that might work better than the epoxy?

Automotive trim adhesive is always a good bet! The key is flexibility - the epoxy, while strong, does not flex very well.

Is this the brake pedal on an MC (rubber) or an MCS (rubber and metal)?

I noticed when I switched my pedals from rubber to rubber and metal in my MCS that if I did not position the pedals in the correct orientation and made sure they were snug they would have a strong tendency to fall off with regular driving but if I got the orientation correct and made sure the flat edge was facing the right direction and the rubber lip was over the edge of the brake pedal then it worked great.

Using this method and without any glue my pedals stay on and never have fallen off in 12+ months.

Rubber-only MC pedal.

My main problem is that the toes of my big-*** foot ocasionally get caught up on the underside of the pedal and gradually lift the cover off.

A buddy of mine had his clutch and brake pedal covers fall off his pre-spec MCS at about 60k miles. He now likes driving without the "fluff" of the pedal cover!
