R50/53 Clutch Problem

Clutch Problem
Bought a 2006 last week the seller thought it needed a clutch, clutch does not slip but it engages low to the floor, hard to get in gear. I replaced the slave and master cylinder bled it many times with a pressure bleeder with the slave collapsed. Pedal seems higher but it is still hard to get into gear. Could it still need a clutch even if there is no slippage ? Also it makes no noise. Thanks.

With the clutch pedal engaging close to the floor, if the slave or master cannot hold the pressure needed to relieve the pressure plate, the clutch will not disengage so I'd think it was a hydraulic leak or something initially with those components you've replaced as well. How would you describe the pedal feel, soft or stiff or normal? I'd maybe check and see if your shift cables are possibly binding or damaged.

Last night I depressed the clutch with a 2x4 and left it, today I tried it and the clutch was great for 3-4 miles and then it went back to the way its been which is very soft about halfway down its travel, cant find any leaks, could there still be air in the line ? Doesnt seem possible with all the fluid I have run through it.
