Productive day

Had the new to us 04 MCS for about a month. Had an unseasonably warm day today so I tackled a couple projects and snapped a couple quick photos. Wish I had finished in daylight, so I'll try for a couple more photos tomorrow. Anyways, I installed the aero grill today as well as putting on the new rims and tires. I found a used set of Sport Edition SE in 17x7.5 and had them powderoated flat black and they are now wearing some 215/45's. I also installed some ECS strut mount reinforcements. Turns out I had some mushrooming going on, but a little BFH work with a wood block fixed that. Anyways, here's the sneak peak.

Looks great! I like how the center cap on the wheels matches your paint.

BFH FTW! Had the same tower issue (I didn't realize until I installed my M7 brace and plates).

I'm not a fan of black wheels, but I have to admit they really work on your car. The blue caps are a nice touch. Good job!

Thanks for the kind words. Yeah the center caps were something I tried on the whim. THe factory caps were scuffed up, so I figured what the heck. I kind of like the little pop they give against the black. Here's a couple updated shots with the real camera in some better light.

Wow looks great in the sunset , EB has to be one of my favorite colors , in 2005 when it was last offered I wanted that color in the Convertible , but it was not offered , instead i got the Hot Orange Convertible.

The color of your MINI matches the sky/sunset colors so well. Nice capture.

Thanks again. Have a question for our vendors. I'm in need of the panel that connects the lower front airdam to the underbody panel. Any help here would be appreciated.

Hot Orange is the best R52 color.

Are you talking about #2 in this diagram?

I think so, but I wasn't 100% sure based on the "center" description.

Ok great, thanks. I just replaced #1 this past weekend as the very end where the wheel flare ties in was pulled through. I also installed the lower deflector/cover that goes up under the engine and realized there should be a panel in between them. It seems like a previous owner probably ran something over and removed all that stuff.....by force or other.

That's what happen , they catch a chunk of ice, dead animal, curb...etc and then the back piece comes off also. Also check that front belly pan section. Those take a beating also.

" Underbody Paneling / Belly Pan "

If you are looking for the stock one and dont have an auto 1/2005+ or modded.

Then: 51757201782

The above's come with the speed screws and everything.

Or You can get the Rennline version * For vehicles with manual transmissions . has a access point for oil changes.

Yeah that's what I meant by lower deflector/engine cover. It was missing all that stuff. Thanks again. Probably will be placing another order soon!

Welcome , those are the most typical , it hits the front trim and takes out the back two. Thanks for the order. Let me know if you need anything else.
