>>Next year I will probably part with her. I want a 350Z......

I drove a 1981 280ZX for a couple of years. Great car. That inline 6 was a sweet engine. I don't know about the 350Zs, though. They look too much like an Audi TT. Not as distinctive as a MINI, from my point of view. Don't get me wrong about Nissan, though. In addition to the 280, I drove a 1982 Sentra into the ground and own a 1994 Pathfinder.

I intend to be buried in my MINI . . .

My MCS is for sale now. I took delivery in late July. Once it's sold I'm sure I'll miss the car it could have been.

I never planned to keep MINIMUS more than a few years (I drive 25K miles / year), but the day I brought it home, my 13-year-old sat behind the wheel and said "I'm big enough to drive this now!". So, maybe in 3 years with about 75K miles, I'll be ready to teach her to drive a standard shift in my/her Mini. Funny to think of another generation of kids that will have fond memories of their first car -- "that old beater Mini Cooper" -- to tell their kids about...

If it is half as reliable as my old 240SX (11 years and zero problems after 140,000 miles!), hopefully a very, very long time.

I may be shipped off somewhere where it snows 9 months a year. If that is the case, I guess it depends on their resale value and if an AWD Mini is out then.

For the stable: I want to add a MINI pickup truck, a MINI Estate (woody)...and if they make a 250+ hp S, I may HAVE to get one of those, too!

Cheers!

I have had my first Cooper S for 22 years and won't ever sell it. I will probably have my 02 MCS that long also, but I hope to drive it more often than the 4000 miles I have put on the 67.

just drove the new infinity coupe....damn, what a car, (the seats are to die for after sitting in the crap BMW puts in the mini's) if one more thing goes wrong it's gone, laugh....but probably keep it a least another 6 months.....it's just a toy and there are so many cars and so little time, laugh!

Since I can't afford an Infiniti G35 Coupe at the moment, the MCS is a tweener car. I will most likely part with it in 3-4 years. Then I'll see if the finances will support a little bit more car.
