No crank/ no start!! please help

Ok so to start off I was trailering my 2003 R53 to another state to trade for another car. I woke up this morning to finish the last leg of my trek. Started the car before we left the hotel. I get to my destination and then it wont start. Battery had proper voltage, couldn't find any blown fuses, tried both my keys...nothing. I have power everywhere else except the starter it would seem. Lights, windows, locks, radio. I can still lock and unlock w/ the key fob. Im getting no clicking at the starter solenoid. I dont have my tools with me as im not home. I checked to make sure the clutch switch was attached to the clutch master cylinder.

I am at a loss. Not sure why it would just stop all of a sudden. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked and my model doesn't have an inertia switch by the brake master cylinder.

What was the voltage of the battery? Make sure the terminals on the battery are all tight and clean and there aren't any loose grounds. These cars can do all sorts of weird stuff with a bad battery so it's good to rule that out of the equation first. There is a good thread here and here where someone traced the issue to a bad ignition switch. So I would investigate to see if that may be your issue.

Check the battery voltage again, see if there is a major drop in voltage once you try to start.

Checked the Battery. It had 11.99v. When testing for a voltage drop when attempting to start it dropped to 11.74v. Not a significant drop. Terminals are tight and clean and no loose ground wires.

How old is the battery? A typical reading would be in the 12.6-volt range when the battery is fully charged. If the reading is 12 volts or less, then the battery needs charging or needs to be replaced with a new one.

battery is about a year old. voltage is down because I was trying to get it started yesterday and had the door open and interior lights for about 3 hours while I tested fuses and checked to make sure the clutch switch was attached to the clutch master cylinder and plugged in. also checked ground straps and reset ecu.

So far no joy.

Do you have another key with you by chance? Could test and rule out that it's a key issue. Otherwise, I would take a look at those threads and see if this could be an faulty ignition switch.

Well after 2 freezing nights I traced it to a loose ground connection on the pass. side by the motor mount. looked tight but nut was finger tight. Tightened the nut and it fired right up. Thanks to everyone who helped out.

Hopefully this can help anyone else that has this problem.
