So, With all the mods that I've installed in my Mini I started to inquire about possibly flashing my Cooper's ECU...I came across a vid on YouTube that had this guy using a "Bluefin" computer to achieve this...My question is, does anyone know if this Bluefin tool is worth the money to purchase or is there something better out there for me to use?

 

I did this many years ago on my 2003 R50. It did give a little extra hp near the
redline (+5-10), but did little else below 5K except a smidge better throttle response.

Not cost effective, but not much else is either when you're looking for HP on a Cooper.

 

I haven't heard of it, their stage 2 is an impressive gain..... im curious if this is piggyback or if its an actual flash

very interesting, I know most of the gains they claim on the stage 2 are actually mostly the boost increase.... which the ECU doesn't control, I figured there would be a few ponies..... haha
