R50/53 Best Upgrade For Stock Headlights (non Xenons)
Best Upgrade For Stock Headlights (non Xenons)
Hi all. (not sure if this should be here or in the MODs forum).
I got my 2004 MCS with the stock, non Xenon headlights. For my purposes, these lights are generally bright enough. However, I might consider upgrading the bulbs at some point if there is a relatively inexpensive and simple way to do it.
So I would like to know what other people with the stock bulbs have done, and is it possible to upgrade without and major work (such a wiring.. I would rather just pop something in that replaces the current bulb).
Thanks!

I replaced low and high beams with Philips Blue Visions. They're not the "try to look like Xenon" cheap things you see in countless ricers, but a nice gain in brightness with just a hint of blue tint to it.

Very easy upgrade. Well, since the MINI's lights point straight up when you have the bonnet up, it's a little tricky...
