Love this Mini, and am relieved to have learned through search function that the trifecta is an easy fix. I know that one brake pad wear sensor is bad, and is off the car. 1. Can this initiate the trifecta syndrome, or is it just coincidence that the three lights came on at about (but not exactly) the same time? 2. Is there a way to deduce which, if any, of the ABS sensors or tire pressure sensors is bad by reading codes without a code reader?

Thanks in advance.
2006 R50, 5 speed, ABS, no traction control.
Brake wear sensor will not throw the 3 lights on, ABS sensor and I believe the steering angle sensor will as well. But most likely the ABS sensor.
You can ohm them out to test the OBD reader will not read those unless you have one specifically to do so, C110 and launch CRP123 will.
You can check the ohm readings at the ABS pump under the hood on the passanger side. You need to read them both ways (swap leads) one why they will read low one high, if they are the same or very close both ways it's toast.
Pin 33,34 - Right Front 36,37- Left Rear 42,43- Right Rear 45,46 - Left Front
Could be a damaged wheel speed sensor. When that sensor is bad/damaged it can trigger the abs, traction control light and flat tire warning lights. Sensors here if needed.
Having replaced them on several over the years, want to chime in that the cheap ( often eBay ) versions are not worth the pittance they are sold for. Buy OEM or equivalent (PEX aftermarket are reputable).
You're welcome. Be sure to update the thread and let us know if this fixed your issue! And if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.
It may be a little while before I can get to it but I'll post. I have 4 vehicles and each seems to need some kind of work. Recently did brakes on the Mini, which is why the wear sensor is not yet replaced, U joints on my wife's Liberty, just finished struts on my Camry. Until the Camry was fixed my son has been driving the Mini to school and I have been driving my off road rig to work. I finally have my Mini back, and caught myself giving the "Jeep wave" to a Jeep while driving the Mini. I have to remember to wave to the other Mini's now, and not the Jeeps. Now I need to fab custom plow mounts for the snow plow on the Jeep. Once that is done, I'll get to the trifecta.

Most threads never really get updated with solutions to their problems so it will definitely come in handy for someone who stumbles upon it in the future. haha, that's funny about the wave! You sound like you're quite handy so I am sure you'll get things solved in no time. Good luck!
Update: I replaced the brake pad wear sensor and the trifecta cleared up. It's been a couple days and no more warning lights. Side note - had recall work done today on passenger seat airbag mat. I had a free loaner for the afternoon. It was a 2015 hatchback with a 3 cyl. turbo. Kinda fun to drive, but doesn't feel as much like a Mini as my 2006, however I suppose that's what an owner of an early Mini owner would say about mine.
^ I agree. I would still check out the ABS sensor. You went in and cleared the codes and the light hasn't come back?
No, lights haven't returned for several days and a lot of driving. Maybe an electrical gremlin - due to the cut wire from the sensor, or maybe the remnants were shorted. Or maybe the ABS wire was a poor connection. May have pulled loose. If I really wanted to be scientific-like, I would reinstall the sensor wire with the missing sensor and see if I can duplicate the trifecta. I just don't have the motivation to do so. I'll still let folks know if the lights come back on. I appreciate the feedback and learning process - I never had so many sensors on a car before.
That may be what corrected the issue. When I replaced the wear sensor I unplugged and re-plugged the ABS sensor, maybe cleaning off the contacts in the process. Then cleared the codes. It's my daily driver, been driving more today. ABS works and no warning lights at all.

Welcome.
Yep that was possibly it, the plug has to be in all the way on those two pins and they have to line up and make contact on those tin pin holes. If you bump the pins and they misaligned they don't make contact or get bent.
