I need to change the timing cover gasket because it's seeping at random times. Can I use the OEM puller that I already have to remove the ATI crank pulley?

 

I had a MINI specific puller and it didn't fit the ATI. My generic (harbor freight) puller fit fine.

I had to write to ATI for this part - the screws are in groups of three. Remove the center screws and use those holes for the puller.

 

I had this strange feeling it would not work, so that's good to know.

I got an order in for a OTC harmomic balanced puller and Snap-on the IP40 Torx socket to remove the three bolts.

 

That's right, you'll have to pull out the 3 protruding bolts that take a 5/16" 12 pt socket (8mm socket should fit even better and you may already have one laying around). The holes will then accept a 5/16"x18 bolt. The puller kit I was using had bolts that were 5/16"x18x2" and the short (4") push rod was a tad too short even though it seemed like it might work (it didn't) so I used the long (5 1/2") one.
