R50/53 AC Delete: shorter belt instead of pulley?
AC Delete: shorter belt instead of pulley?
Has anyone here deleted the AC compressor from an R53, but instead of installing the accessory belt idler pulley (p/n 11287570810), installed a shorter belt? If so, which belt? I've read somewhere this is possible, but I can't find any details such as length of belt/what belt to get.
A picture is worth a 1000 words. Thanks.
Looking at the picture, couldn't one go directly from the supercharger to the alternator, then around the idler pulley and to the crankshaft pulley? Is the idler pulley rotationally invariant? I.e., does it only turn one way?

Anyone know length belt I can use to bypass the ac compressor without the bypass pull
Can I do away with the ac compressor and the idler pulley and get a shorter belt to around the crank pulley, belt tensioner pulley, supercharger pulley and alternator pulley?
Need a straight up answer to what size belt I would need
I can not get a bypass pulley due to money problems and I'm 1300 miles away from home and have no idea where I am
