Engine really tight after rebuild

So I’m rebuilding my r53 engine and I noticed it’s really tight to turn the crankshaft by hand I have to use a rubber mallet to pry the crank journals over is this normal or are the tolerance too tight it might be worth mentioning that I’m running k1 connecting rods and wiesco pistons with king bearings for the crank and connecting rod

At a minimum, plastigauge the main and rod bearings and post your results.
