Have just received confirmation from the TN Department of Safety that I got my second choice - GR8BRIT. I'm excited.
Just for ideas my other choices were TALLYHO (already taken), REDCOAT, LIMEY, BLIMEY, CHEERIO, GROOVY, HEY NOW (favorite saying of Howard Stern) and BOOGITY (NASCAR saying invented by Darrrell Waltrip).
Oklahoma Vanity Plate "SENNA" Three flags in the rear window, Britain (home of Mini Cooper) Germany (home of BMW) and Brazil (home of the heart of Senna and the heart <engine> of SENNA).

Ron,
Wow! When I went to the DMV and got custom plates for my Miata, they came in the mail 10 days later.
I FINALLY got my Mini on 4-8-03. Still waiting for the title papers, etc. and haven't hit the DMV yet. But, I've got a custom ID reserved. When it's a done deal, I'll let you all know.
A neighbor has a blue Mini. It's got a plate that reads: BIGGRIN
2003 MCS Black over red, black grill, spec. wheels, rain sensor, navi system, all extras except heated seats (I live in FL)
Tag no.: JAX Mini (my first name is Jack) null
I tried to get SIZMTRZ, but they turned me down, stating that it might be
offensive to some...oh, well. Welcome to Arizona the retirement capital of the West...read lots of old people that are easily offended.
I settled on DWNSIZN. Seems to have multiple meanings as well.
