High pitched whine when driving

Have no clue what it is but when I drive I hear it and when I slow down it goes away wondering if anyone has any idea? It's an 05 MCS manual

Are you able to determine where it's coming from? Under the car, in the front, specific point in the engine bay? Whine could be a few things. Does it sound like this?

First step...
Turn off the radio...if the buzz goes away, it means it might be a failing alternator...they can sometimes make a humm or buzz when the electronics start to fail....you typically hear it through the radio...
Next, play around on an open stretch of road...
Get the car up to speed... Hear the sound, then see what makes it change...
Slip the car into neutral...still hear it?
Slight turns left and right, get louder, either way?
Etc... More info...heck many things can make noise, some normal, like a SC, others abnormal, like a bad bearing or vac/boost leak..

What I was thinking is maybe engine noise coming through your speakers. Experienced this a few times. It'll happen even sometimes with the radio off.

Are you possibly able to post a video of it?

Could it just be the whining noise of the supercharger? I see you just got the car not very long ago. Has it always done it? Is there a non-stock air intake on it? Not trying to be insulting, just trying to cover all bases.

Power steering whine , make it when you turn side to side. Little loud at park and the Supercharger whines , you can hear it more with a open intake. Really hear it under throttle and load, sound very high pitch.

How high pitched are we talking? If it's significantly higher than the supercharger in the above video, like old CRT TV high, then you might also be hearing the throttle body whistle, which is normal & unique to these cars.

I have the alta intake on and it's a higher almost dog whistle sounding like a thing air line that's small but really high and annoying

Yeah, if you mostly hear it at part throttle, it's your throttle body whistling & you're hearing it more because of the Alta intake. If you want it to be quieter but still have a good aftermarket intake, check out the JCW intake.

Open filter will make it much louder. Boxed intake will make it quieter. The JCW intake with the flap open will be louder, but not as loud as a full open filter.
