New MCS owner, Exhaust question JCW?

Had my stock 2006 MCS (93K) for three months now and love the driving experience! I looking at adding an exhaust, I can get a used JCW for $400. Any opinions on the JCW vs other aftermarket options? Looking for a deeper sound, nothing too loud. I will be adding intake and pulley in the near future as well. Thanks!

Aftermarket will be more expensive. You can see some options here. Billy Boat Performance exhausts are also a very nice option (we offer as well), but will be more than $400 at $1,137.15.

+1 Milltek Sounds great on the R53 , best exhaust for the Supercharged Engine. No drone, nice pop and burple and looks really nice. Milltek has been doing it right for MINI since the early days. 2002+ Go for the non res if you want in louder. All in stock ready to ship.

Dependingbon mileage and condition, $400 sounds like a great deal. Gives a bit of a performance boost with not drone.

Factory JCW and Milltek are about the only ones that don't drone. But that Milltek NON res sounds sooo good.

$400 is a good deal. It's a nice exhaust with a moderate sound increase. There isn't tons of low end to the sound. The Milltek is a very good sounding exhaust for your car. It has a mellow deep tone without rasping or droning.
