4WHEEL DRIFT - Your MINI looks splendid! Congratulations! I'm agonizing with envious anticipation, as the Freedom should dock in Charleston tomorrow! I hope to Frieda to love and to hold withing the next 15 days... Enjoy the long weekend with your MINI!

I'm in the same boat...so to speak...ASK MINI states "being transported to the port of exit" but the OL has no update, still "Awaiting Transport." Also still no info on WW site (I know I could be on another company's ship). Hoping to see more info soon on where my baby is!!

For those of us on the Freedom, the Port of Charleston just put out a weather advisory. Since it looks like Frances will be making landfall in Florida, the port is resuming normal operations.

Very nice indeed. But we need MORE!!!!! Ya know, we have to live vicariously through those of you that have gotten your cars already....

How about the story of your delivery day? Where did you drive? Etc... anything will help at this point of my sickness.

Picked it up at MINI of Peabody. It was in the showroom when we got there and it looked awesome. I got to drive it half way home and the wife (it is here car afterall) drove it the other half.

And a couple more pictures

I will have more pictures tonight. Maybe I can even drive it.

Congratulations 2005LY, Saturday is getting close.

The Car had the lamps and stripes put on Tuesday, but I still haven't heard if it will be ready for delivery Saturday. We will finish the financing then, and hopefully will be motoring home.

What all else were you having done that would take longer? Clear bra? That's about all I'm having done right now.

New to this

My Cool Blue Mini is on order and is to be built by the end of week 39. So what week are we in now. How do they number the weeks. Anyway we can not wait. Already have named her Scooter.
ooking forward to her being shipped and learning how to track it on the ship. Hope to get her broke in before the snow flies here in Western NY

Yes, the bra was all that still needed to be put on. Amy said it had to go through a whole series of tests, do you know how long that should take?

They're mostly just multiple choice, and not too tough! Should be fairly painless and quick!! - -

Absolutely!! And hopefully, if your MINI fails, that doesn't mean you just get less help! - -

The Freedom's position has not been reported since 2300 on the 1st. That probably means she is either very close to docking or has already docked.

Freedom's progress

According to WW, the Freedom has sailed from Brunswick, GA. Port of Charleston website has her docking at Union Pier tomorrow. Hope the VPC is located on high ground! This would be a good time for them to have the tops up on the convertibles .

Quick question:

When in the process did you see an EDD in the OL??

Mine says En Route - my MA has told me 9/5 docking...

does the EDD show up a week before docking??

Just looking for some other experiences....
