Thanks BoilerUp and Del. The OL and ASKMINI must not be updated too often. They said awaiting transport with no ship info. On a fluke I entered my VIN on the WW site and it was already on the Freedom and enroute.
It will take me a little longer to get my car since it must be trained from the dealer in Chicago to Seattle where I pick it up.

I can't believe that your MA said The Car is on the boat...

just got an email from Julie of Classic... nope, my car wasn't 1 of the 4 that was delivered today...although, mlebeau got his in that delivery... HOORAYY!!! at least, that's 1 in our group........ just have to wait a bit more now....
Well, my car is at MOTH. Mike called me this morning and I told him that I can't pick it up until September 16, because that was when I scheduled vacation time to go get it!
I offered to let him put it in the showroom until then. They have no cars left to show so he jumped at the offer. He did say that it was the first Purple Haze they had received. He also said that he thought the red interior looked great with the color. Someone asked him about the "blue one out back" and he had to tell them it was purple! I told him it might be sacrilege to have the only 2005 be one without the center speedo (mine has the chrono pak) but it’s better than nothing!
Everyone's so hot to get their car, and I have to let mine sit 20 days!

Guess I will call my MA later today to see if she has an estimated delivery date, bill of lading, and shipping info. After two weeks at the port, my mini is heading to the U.S. of A.

Well, this is my first post here! My lovely Frieda's VIN shows up on the WW ship Freedom, which WW shows as having left Southampton on 8/24, with a 9/3 scheduled arrival into Charleston. However, the Charlestom Port doesn't show the Freedom scheduled in for the next 30 days. What does this mean??

I just found the FREEDOM's call sign (WDB5483) on the Ocean Weather page. It looks like she's right in the middle of the Atlantic.

It was right in the middle next to the call sign "C6KD4".
Hey, if a ship sinks carrying Minis, do you go to the end of the line for new production, or get to skip ahead? If you had Anthracite headliner do they have to give it to you after Sept. 1? Lets all worry about that!

While on her way to Southampton and then the USA, the "Tricolor" sank in the English Channel on December 14, 2002 after a collision another ship. She carried 2,862 new BMW, SAAB, and Volvo automobiles. In the above photo, her hull rises above sea level at low tide. Estimated Cargo Value: $50 Million.

OMG - that's just too, too much! It's a little early in the day for a drink...
Seriously, does anybody know if these impending hurricanes are likely to delay things at the Port of Charleston??
