Hovering RPM's

I just picked up a 2002 MCS last night and the only thing that seemed strange was when shifting through the gears the engine RPM's seem to stay at speed rather then quickly dropping bettween shifts. Almost as if the throttle was sticking slightly. Is this typical with a supercharged engine?

Thanks in advance, Reese

Prw3, welcome to NAM!!

What you're experiencing is typical of modern day engines. Even my 2002 Dodge Neon does this. It is for lowering emmissions.

It's normal. Noticed that myself. Uncle test drove my car, and he noticed it right away. No problem there though.

Thanks to a massive flywheel and a 'green' computor. To be smooth shift very slow or really quick. This common to more new cars. Bummer

Motor on
