New member with old mini needs advice :)

Hey guys! (and girls)

I just purchased a base 1.6 2004 Mini cooper with only 74000km, i say its for the wife but i grab the keys from her every time i can. It was a one owner car with an interior and motor that look to be in really good condition showing minimum visible wear and tear. Exterior has a lot of scratches and dents from but im ok with working on that.
A little background of my car history, im kind of a car fanatic. I have owned just about everything from fox body mustang, vw cabrio, ranger, Mazdaspeed6 cadillac concourse, E34 BMW M5 and a couple more in between.
I usually modify my cars and do all the changes that i feel the factory should have done from the beginning, so never anything to wild.

Here are my ideas for the Mini and i would really love your input on them as im new to the Mini world:

Face lifted projector headlights ( seems like you cant get them with the headlight washers, will that be an issue? )

Full JCW Aero Kit ( dieing to get my hands on the kit but all the ones I found are priced over $2000 just to get it into my hands, anyone have a good connection or idea to help me get this kit? )

roof spoiler ( not sure wich one yet, thinking just the MCS one, but worried about the install as mine has no spoiler right now meaning it doesn't have the two mounting holes that the MCS needs)

interior speaker upgrade ( want to keep the factory head unit but upgrade the speakers, any suggestions? )

aluminum pedals ( just look better )

LED bulbs for all my interior lights

I already purchased the 17" 5 star oem mini rims for the summer.

i think that is all for now.

Again i really appreciate any input ( positive or negative ) you might have and look forward to posting all my changes to see what people think.

First off... Welcome to the MINIacs!

Sounds like you have a good idea of what you want and that is a great start. Lots of MODs out there and this is a great place to get ideas, advice, and contraversy when discussing them.

Best of luck keeping those keys in your hand...

Motor on!

Congrats on the new to you MINI. Don't forget the rear sway bar. Makes a huge difference in handling. As for the Aero kit, I wish I had a hookup but there just isn't that many left out there thus they are expensive. I plan to have a body shop paint my black trim body color as I think that looks great too.

seems like you have good plans, although I would keep the 15's on it since they are lighter, or even move to a lighter 15in wheel like the holies or something aftermarket. 17s will give you more handling but may make the mini a bit more sluggish off the line accelerating. The Xenons are a great upgrade and I don't think having the washers will be a problem. as for the spoiler, you will just have to drill holes, you have the mounting locations.

then ill add the rear sway bar, I haven't installed mine yet, cause like you theres lots of snow, but I cannot wait this spring to put it in
