Anyone else have this?? I have velcro ( the soft, non-hook side) stuck onto the part where my seat belt clicks in. Drivers side only. Is this a forgotten transit thingy?? It's only on my drivers side.

Hummm, it's fuzzy?

Maybe to help keep the plastic from marking up things... I just want to know what that little piece of plastic that's around my seatbelt is for... that little runner/collar type thing...

I believe the purpose is to reduce friction when motoring in the MINI. As discussed in… http://www.uweb.ucsb.edu/~dpham00/mini.jpg

That is there to keep the buckle from sliding all the way to the floor when the belt is retracted and not in use...also helpful in setting the buckle location so it is easier to reach when you "buckle up" !

I thought they might be hiding a brand name under the fuzzy stuff. I have to agree it might be for .....................

Now those are some valuable instructions! Too bad the text is so small you can't read all of it (or is my resolution just set too high). That's great!

I, along with a number of sunroof owners, believe the fuzzy stuff was installed in the wrong location. They should have put it on the wind deflectors to stop the annoying rattle!
