Hey, those of you who didn't get a 'welcome package', did you order your cars or buy them off the lot as dealer spec? I wonder if that's what makes the difference... what about those of you who ordered your cars - did all of you get a 'welcome package'?

Just curious if there's any rhyme or reason to those who got and those who did not.

Kenchan, I don't know if it matters or not; some people have reported that they didn't get a 'welcome package' from MINI, even after a long period of time. I was just wondering if it made a difference in getting the package whether you bought the car off the lot or ordered it to your specs.

 

I bought my MINI off the lot and got the welcome kit and assorted other goodies almost on a monthly basis. It seems to depend somewhat on the dealer. I don't know if they have to notify MINI USA or something else that triggers the buyers gifts.
