You really transformed your R50. Thanks for sharing your approach.... In its form off the factory, R50s don't need much tweaking to be photogenic, IMO! Here are a few worthy angles:

I have tried different way to improve the air intake system of R50.

current setup: DDMworks kit with Alta R53/R56 JCW replacement cone filter

IMO, the quality of Alta cone filter is not very good....

Alta & quality don't seem to go together. But most of their products are functional.

agree, but Alta do not have many products for R50.

Even the crank pulley for R50 is no longer available at their online store since 2013.

Hi, Ashley John. you can ask Priordesign usa/Germany for a quote.
I ordered it through an local agent and ship the kit from Germany to Asia Hong Kong, in lump sum of service charge, shipping, painting, installation, etc... so i cannot tell you clearly about the net price of the kit.

As I think the net price is around 120% of a new jcw kit.

Rare sight in hk. I'm coming back to HK soon but have to leave my R53 in SK because it's LHD. I'll miss it in the meantime.

It's rare in any place compared to Oxford. haha We are a BMW or MINI city.

I'd love one back in HK but traffic and costs puts me off, might opt for a R6 instead though.
