way motor works

Does any one know a good way to get to talk to way motor works, I ordered powerflex bushings almost two weeks ago and my order status still says queued and the payment has not been withdrawn from my account. So I assume they have not even been shipped yet. I wish they would have let me know if they did not have them in stock and let me know when they would get some in. This is not very good business.

Well they are at the Dragon right now. I assume you called? At one time there was another number listed in the message if you got the answering machine, if this is still true did you call this number?

I have only gotten great customer service from them. A few times they called me if there was going to be a delay or if there was going to be a fitment issue.

They do a wonderful business and are extremely reliable. They are at MOTD taking care of customers who pre-ordered product for installation on site. Please do not get in the habit of running down the vendors on this or other sites just because they don't seem to rise to your expectations. They are people just like everyone else and more often than not, mom and pop sized businesses working hard to take care of a niche clientele. Negative comments and carping ran a vendor/craftsman off a year or so ago. It was him and one other person and they were expected to function like a big box outfit by a few complainers. To those who knew him, he is greatly missed. For the grief he was handed by a few bad mouthers, I don't really blame him for walking away.

FYI: There are in the neighborhood of 800 to 1000 MINIs at the MOTD rally this weekend. It's a national event, so this isn't just some fluke they ran off to.

Yes I have called and left message and I filled out their contact us on there website. Is there another way to get in touch with them. I am sorry if I hurt your feelings but If you order parts off of someone they should at least let you know they are busy and will not be able to ship parts, two weeks and it has not even been shipped. Should I not be mad that my mini is sitting in the garage apart waiting for these bushings. I just want to be able to talk to someone or email or whatever.

You're not hurting my feelings. You're previous posts never stated that you tried to contact them. You'd be surprised how many people ***** and moan and don't even bother picking up the phone first.

If you really need them, order another set from someone else and keep working on canceling the order.

Did you order them pre-pressed? When I did they had to wait for someone else to return their used cores so they could pre-press a new set. A word to the slow returns guy...get on it!!! Someone else is waiting for you! Hahah! J/K.

They must be really busy. In the past, I have called after hours just to see what would happen and Way still answered the phone.

Where are you?!
When the order says "queued" but not processed, and YOU HAVE NOT BEEN CHARGED seems to indicate to me your order has gotten stuck....maybe a non-us credit card, non-us address or maybe an address that did not match the one on the credit card?!
I have never had anything but THE BEST service from the folks st Waymotorworks....
And even if the owner and part of the crew are st the dragon, I bet the shop is still bring manned....
Till you call....by u know nothing...the order is stuck for some reason....not sure why you waited 2 weeks to try to call them...and just to note....EAST COAST time.....
I have picked up the phone in the past, and gotten the owner within seconds....and had my stuff shipped same day....

I got a response from way motor works and they said they said they should be here this week and would ship them asap when they come in and contact me when they do. They also said that somebody no longer works with them that was supposed to call me.

Just order them elsewhere, you haven't been charged cancel the order when they return. Way has a good reputation for a reason.

Yes, Way is just ONE guy in a Small shop with a couple of techs. almost literally mom and pop, except its just Pop, lol. he does what he can and is actually good with return phone calls and emails.

not to bust your ***** too much, but why would you tear the car apart without having parts first? you kinda dug your own hole there.

I guess you have another car to use. Otherwise, you can keep driving it until you're ready to change the bushings.

We or I should say "I" are the same way. One person to run the show. I have ordered a ton of aftermarket parts from Way. They have always been top notch.

I have ordered a lot of items from Way over the years and have always found him responsive. Even in regards to general questions I have asked him. I was actually corresponding with him the past 2-3 days with an issue I have been having.

last time I went to the Dragon and stayed at Fontana (the official main base), there was limited WiFi and cellular coverage . . . .

ha. i ordered the same setup a couple weeks back.. Someone (female) answered the phone when I called monday time to check on status, she said the bushings are backordered from P-flex and the first time I called early last week (before MOTD) Way said he was waiting on a ton of cores (people hadn't returned them). I'm in no rush and I appreciate how they do business, so I'll just be patient. Please keep in mind that businesses with good reputations and that sell race parts often run out of stock on suspension components in the spring time. This is to be expected. Call Detroit Tuned if you absolutely need them now, they advertise "in stock" on their website. I'm sticking with Way.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. Yes we are currently at MINIs on the Dragon, but our new shipping girl Stefanie has been trying to call everyone and take care of orders that is inventory still at the shop as we took a ton of stuff to the event so orders of those parts will ship on Monday when we get back.

Yes Powerflex bushings ran out in the US but they were due in this week so we hope to ship those also when we get back.

Thank you for all the patience during this week. Internet is sketchy here so we will try to respond when we can.

WAY

I am in almost the exact same boat right now as the OP! I ordered my bushings a few days ago in the evening, and Stefanie called me the next morning to explain the situation and let me know they'd ship the bushings as soon as they arrive. At the same time I placed that order, I also ordered a driver's side door lock actuator, and she said she would ship that out now and not charge me twice for shipping even though my bushings will come separately. This was my first order with WMW, and it won't be my last. Great customer service, thank you Way and Stefanie

It's hard to have the people you rely on to make sure your business runs smoothly be flaky. It's your name on the line. That's frustrating.
With that said, if your name is on the line, it's your job to make sure you have the proper measures and people in place to handle situations like this. It's not as easy as it sounds, I know, but it's also no excuse to not have a business correctly run (not that Way isn't, just in general). These hiccups can really mess your business up in this world of internet retail.
I sent a message to RMW the day my charger failed. I didn't get a message back. Still haven't to this day. Guess what, I'm not buying a thing from them, which is a shame due to their products excellent reputation and their level of skill and experience.
I called another vendor on here before I did my charger repair to ask a question as to whether the oil coating my MAP was from the charger or anywhere else. Basically looking for confirmation from someone before tearing everything down. That person basically said, "No, that's just blow-by" and was very rushed. I know that these calls happen all the time. I get it, they are annoying. I just happened to drop $1600 elsewhere instead.
