The 2004 MC40 was a special anniversry model commemorating the 1964 Mini Cooper S Rallye win. As a limited Edition, there should not be a 2005 version, at least not one labelled the MC40. Has anyone heard of an equivalent Rallye type special edition for 2005? Not limited by the desire to match the 1964 car, I can certainly envision a bright orange (supposedly only a Cabriolet color) S sedan with lots of rallye lights and tricked out suspension and wheels. Any other suggestions for an "MC41?"


JCW standard? Special JCW for Rallye?

 

I doubt it, there wasn't one before the MC40, and I'm not sure it was a hot seller... If all the MC40's were spoken for before they arrived at their dealers, I might think otherwise, but I don't think the dealers are having an easy time unloading the cars...

 

Its the only car left on some lots right now.
