I decided that my last mod before the Dragon would be to replace my rusting muffler. I wanted something a little louder and deeper than stock, so I decided to go with a custom setup. Now, I have the tone and the pop and burble that I wanted, but my car is now tens of decibels too loud. What should I do to keep the tone but quiet things down a bit?

 

Did you put in a resonator after the cat and before the muffler? You could start with that.

 

Can you give some more info on your "custom setup? Did you go with a larger diameter pipe? What mufflers are you using? Did you remove the resonator?
