'05-S I've only had for 5 months. Today it had a tough time starting or I should say idling for about 5 seconds. Very rough and then smoothed out. Oil level is good. Stopped for coffee on the way to work and when I restarted it, a puff of white smoke came out under the bonnet. By the time I opened it up, the puff was gone, no smells, nothing leaking. no check engine or service light came on. Anyone know what this could be?

For the puff of white smoke, I can't know from here, but I suggest keeping an eye on your coolant level regularly for a while.

 

It was pretty low a week ago so topped up the reservior. I'll check again when I go out this afternoon. Good place to start, thank you.
