How can you tell what software version your car has

 

I asked a similar question several months ago, and was told you can't tell as a user. You have to ask your dealer. They can either estimate your software version based on the vehicle build date, or tell you when you bring it in. Bummer, I know...

 

I don't think you can. If you have a 04 it's either v34 or v36, I believe. If it stumbles, it's likely not v36.
General rule of thumb was once if you are not having issues, don't upgrade.
I think I would wait for v38 at this time, although it is unlikely to be the last usefull upgrade.

 

I asked my car once but it just sat there and looked at me.
