I think Chill was speaking about suspension context only. Adjusting a ride height solely for a certain stance or fender gap is not tuning for 'suspension' performance. Engine output can be tuned independently...

Guess it's a age thing. I'm scared enough with factory clearance. Never lowered a car and never plan on it.

Why not put bigger fenders on ?

Engineers took time to get things working together. And throw it all off , I don't get it.

I'm 24, and as much as I love the look of a modestly lowered car, the stock height is a pain as is it with potholes, road kill and debris.

we have major road construction her in Ft Worth area and they have raised the sewer cover to about 3-4" and you have 2 choices, center them or kill a rim , if I was lowered it would be nasty.

I absolutely hate when they raise the manhole covers or dig a big square hole out around them. I really don't get why they do it either, why not just make them flat?

As far as the engineers taking the time to make sure everything works correctly, those engineers are also HIGHLY influenced by bean counters. There is almost always room for improvement in your average consumer-grade automobile. Granted slapping together a bunch of mismatched parts isn't usually a good way to go about it, but if you are looking for the best performance, OEM isn't the best way to go.

You would be surprized because i was literaly theres no diffrence in rubbing from stock i take one of the bumpyest freeways in ca and drive some rough roads. Theres actully less wheel rubbing and issues now because the struts are new and not blown, and the suspention is stiffer so it can hit bumps and not rub. No issuses with it at all it handles better and looks 10 times better 👍
