R53 Seat restitch
Hello guys, I was screwing around in a parking lot and ended up hitting a curb and popping my seat airbag. Luckily the only thing that was damaged was a wheel, which are now my winter wheels, and summer wheels are on the way. Does anyone know a vendor that will restitch a seat after I replace the airbag? I'm thinking of doing an r56 seat swap, but don't know which would be more cost effective.
There is a vendor on Ebay. for around $100 bucks they will send you a new (used) aurbag and restitch your seat. I had an accident and bought a sewing machine. Wish I had just paid the money to have a pro do it. The seat cover is glued onto the foam. you will have to peal it off. and put it back on with spray glue. There is a airbag scan tool called a B200 or something. it is made in china like $40 off of ebay and will allow you to reset your airbags.
When mine bley, it blew my seat and headliner. I had to replace the headliner and seat airbag, It can be done yourself. Ebay and people parting their cars here will be your friend.

I have already bought the B200, just need to fix the airbags. Do you have the name of the vendor? I would rather have a pro do it, and have it look nice. I'm usually a DIY kind of guy, and have no problem replacing the airbag, but unless I can find a really good tailor, with the correct stitching, I'd rather use someone who has some experience with it.
