I have NO problems with my MCS.

Legitimate gripes are one thing, but I’m thinking there’s a lot of very anole people out there making complaints about nothing kind of things and wouldn’t be satisfied no matter what car they had, let alone a car that has a racing type chassis which will be stiff and unforgiving on most roads.

I’ve even had a major crash in my MINI and don’t have any complaints after the repairs.
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...mp;topic=16055

All I seem to read about is I’ve got a squeak here or there’s a rattle there. I auto-x mine people and it’s my everyday driver. I have no garage so it sits outside in the Florida sun day in and out.

MY MINI IS GREAT and I’ve not had not one problem with it. NOT ONE. Are there any other persons out there to admit it?

I don’t want to hear except for… Are there ANY MINI owners out there who have no problems and I mean none. Or am I the mystique of a production run of over 200,000 so far.

My MINI is the most trouble-free car I have ever had and I too keep it outside in the weather, thrash it on the auto-x track, and generally beat on it like a mule.

Aside from minor stuff like a cracked windshield (replaced with the superior aftermarket PPG glass), a slightly leaky coolant tank replaced at my convenience, and rear brakes that mysteriously

My MINI is about 15 months old now and was doing well until one year with only one replaced leaking coolant tank and one recall for rear strut bolts.

Edited:
Neither one was much of a problem until the last three months. So I was good for a year at least.

hune - you forgot to read the thread premise: only respond if your MINI has had zero problems

on that note, my collective 20k miles has been perfect mechanical reliability. (driver reliability's another story, lol)

I've had no real problems after nearly two years and
about 48k miles... but ZERO problems... does that
exist in anything?... (Sounds like a very nice mental
state to me. )

Godspeed.

'02 Cooper CVT = 23K troublefree miles
'04 MCS = 8,500 troublefree miles and not once back to the dealer for any kind of warranty repairs. Will be going in July for its very first scheduled maintenance stop and oil change.

Both cars are also under the hot Florida sun day in and day out.

Couldn't be happier!

July will be the end of my second year. I have 12,300 miles and the only problem I have had was a leaky coolent tank. Knock on wood, that's it! Oh, I do have the boot latch rattle, but I can fix that on my own. I am a happy camper. Next month I will take her on her longest drive to the MOT meet, that should rack up about 1,000 miles for the entire round trip, so lets see if all is the same by the time I return.

No major problems after 15 months. I love my MINI As hubby would say-"Some people would complain if they were hung with a new rope"! I think I said that right
