In the Bentley book for the 2002-05 Mini the wiring diagram for the ABS controller identifies the four ABS wheel sensors as B1, B2, B3, B4. Does anyone know which wheel is associated with each "B" number? This would help me determine which sensor is bad.

 

I might not be of any help but I think that B1 is you front left or Driver's side B2 would be front right and so on B3 rear right B4 rear right this is as if you were ordering parts but please confirm this because I'm recalling this from memory so I could be wrong. Good luck

 

Thanks. I was assuming the same thing. The wiring resistance for B2 at the ABS controller seems to be bad and I was thinking it was probably the right front. I'll wait and see if anyone else can confirm this.

Update: I found a reference in the Bentley Book in the section on Electrical Component Locations about 40 pages before the wiring diagrams.
B1=right front B2=left front B3=right rear B4=left rear
