Funny that I never realized the third brake light location differs between the R56 and R53 'til now...

Hmm... No kidding, I always thought the third brake light was in the same spot on the R56... Just had to google some pic's... Turns out I was wrong.

No worries, my good man! The patch weld shot didn't help me at all since I had no clue that the brake lights were in different locations, Gen 1 vs Gen 2...

This is turning out to be a very educational thread.

I printed a bunch of those off a long time ago... Just googled "Army Hurt Feelings Report" and picked the one that looked the most like a real DOD form...

When you finish that project you aughta bring it to Cars&Coffee in Lafayette! It would look awesome next to the Morgan three wheeler that shows up every month...

Unless your lawn mower was powered by an RMW 1.8 stroker, you can keep it.

Sad news but the final clear clouded over, and would not sand out. :( Got to start back over.

Got the roof leveled back out, and re-primed despite the snow and cold. So tomorrow I start again. This time I will be using White Silver instead of Pure Silver, for a little more color separation between the base color and primer color.

Subscribed. More pics please! =D

I wouldn't want my MINI to look rusty, but I have a 69 GTO to restore (saving up slowly) and the idea of making it a jalopy sleeper with massive power under the hood DOES interest me!
