Brake squeal while braking

It started a couple of weeks ago, I press the pedal and the front right (I believe) squeals and it varies with pedal pressure. I figured it was getting close to new brakes but I just pulled the front wheels off and there is enough material there, about 1/4". I know that squeal can be caused by loose pad material but nothing seems to be shifted in there.

Likely glazing on surface of pads. Sand pad material on a flat surface, make sure isolator material is intact on back of pad next to piston and try that. It worked on mine.

If the pad meteral is thinner than the backing plate, change the Pad...
If the pad is groved, with a lip at the edge, you might be hearing the metal pad backer touch the lip that now sticks up a bit....

I'll give that a shot and let you know, thanks
The pad material is defiantly thicker than the backing.
