7mm vs. 8mm Spark Plug Wires

Is there any benefit to 8mm wires when running a stock coil?

I am getting ready to install a CAI and 16% pulley and need to replace the wires as well (#3 poor fit on coil plus they have 73k on them). I plan to install colder plugs as well.

I like the Kingsborne 8mm based on recommendations and price. 7mm NGKs at NAPA are $34.00 and NAPA's lifetime set is $28. If going 7mm, I'd go NGK.

Thanks for your ideas and let the debate begin!

The sparkplug wires in a mini have such a short run (about a foot) I doubt there will be a difference....let's face it...electronic ignition and distributerless ignition used to replace points, and smart placent of a modern coil... paired with a very short run means spark plug wires in a mini don't get stressed much....
